When Mardi Gras comes around each year, all one can think about is king cake! It's a staple in the New Orleanian diet. Seems only fitting with this quote from the roman emperor, Marcus Aurelius.
All letter is done in gold leaf and the under painting is painted with heavy body acrylics on a gallery wrapped canvas. Signed, dated, and finished with a gloss varnish.
