One of my favorite times of the year here in New Orleans. This piece depicts one of the entrances to the spring music festival on the fairgrounds. I've been lucky enough to have a record of 5 for 5 in years of attendance and that is exactly what motivated me to paint walking into the fest! Good weather (fingers crossed), good food (crawfish monica), good music (the classics), and good times (always)!
This original is painted with heavy body acrylics on a gallery wrapped canvas. Signed, dated, and finished with a gloss varnish.
